Logo design for eWBL - project
I designed the logo for the eWBL - project and the brand manual.
Logo Concept

The eWBL(work based learning) logo is available in 2 variations, so it can be used on both a white and black background.
The logo combines a clean and geometric sans serif typography with shades of blue and green in the image element.
The design of the logo is composed of two major shapes that would fit and complement each other. This is meant to reflect the importance of integrating university education with work-based learning. The contrasting colors also reflect the different sources of learning.  Whereas the laptop represents the online aspect of eWBL which lies at the core of this project.

Alternative colours
The eWBL’s main primary colours are one green tone and two blue tone’s.
To be used as an accent to the primary brand colours, a secondary colour palette has been developed to add a sense of dynamism to the brand where required.

Typeface Style
Fonts  are a very powerful way of communicating a brand.
The Lemon Milk font was chosen for the logo the EWBL – work based learning logo. Which, with its clean and geometric sans serif typeface, represents eWBL with its values and goals. https://www.dafont.com/lemon-milk.font
About the project
The project focuses on fostering the transversal skills of students such as collaborative problem-solving and interpersonal communication, which are critical for the success of graduates in a work environment. By taking the COVID 19 pandemic which forced educators to find new ways of offering work-based learning in an online environment as an opportunity, the project aims to collect and synthesis best practices. The best practices would then be translated into frameworks and replicable models. The ultimate goal is to upskill educators in HE (lecturers, trainers and administrative staff) on how to design and deliver high quality eWBL.  The project brings together six partners from five different European countries and would run for the next three years.
